Kim Hawk has been with Fayette County Community Action Agency (FCCAA) for 24 years, serving as Director of Human Resources for the last 18. In this capacity, Kim has been responsible for designing, implementing, directing and nurturing the human resource needs of approximately 70 employees.
Kim is also the Acting Director of the FCCAA Community Training Institute (CTI), an on-site training facility. Kim was instrumental in developing CTI curriculum that would best meet the needs of its students and area employers.
She was a consultant for 10 years for the Adult Diploma Program, a partnership between Adult Basic Education Agencies and local high schools. She assisted in developing approved curriculum to meet local secondary education standards for graduation.
Kim also provided technical assistance to adult education coalitions as a consultant for the “Plans for Change” Project. The Project provided assistance to 12 Workforce Investment Board (WIB) areas to develop a plan that would provide needed adult education services in local CareerLinks.
Kim has served on the Head Start Policy Council, Connellsville Community Center Board of Directors, and Fayette Literacy Council.
Kim received her undergraduate degree in Education from California University of PA with a certification in Speech Pathology and Audiology.
